HISTORIC! ABU Zaria Becomes First Nigerian University To Launch An Online MBA Programme

Ahmadu Bello University (ABU) has become first university in Nigeria to launch a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) programme online.
The programme which has been accredited by the National Universities Commission (NUC), gives prospective students the privilege to be at their comfort zones and master the programme as custom tables or USB sticks on smartphones or PCs help students to access study materials offline.

Speaking at the launch event,  the Director of Distance Learning, Professor Adamu Zoaka Hassan said the school has broken the lingering barrier of distance e-learning by introducing the programme.
He said:
“the wall of limitations have been hacked down in the world of distance learning which Ahmadu Bello University is bringing to the educational landscape”.
Also talking about the remarkable effort put by ABU, the Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor Ibrahim Garba, represented by his Deputy (Administration), Professor Ibrahim Naiya Sada, at the launch event said “this is a same degree, same ABU and accredited by the NUC, so it’s safe”.
